Comparison Mineral Oil – Bio Oil
Although at first glance, bio oils appear to be considerably more expensive than conventional mineral oils, taking a closer look actually reveals that this opinion needs to be revised. It’s the difference in the quality of both oils that’s crucial for this calculation. Bio oil is indeed more expensive, but at the same time, it’s much more efficient – especially in very deep temperatures - in comparison to cheap mineral product. Apart from that, bio oil is also less toxic for man and nature, less flammable, evaporates less and does not smell very much.
Bio oils
-
are sustainable, because they are made out of renewable raw materials
-
feature excellent lubricating qualities and help to reduce the energy consumption
-
are quickly bio-degradable
Increasingly limited fossil resources literally bid us to alternatively resort to renewable raw materials wherever possible. It’s thanks to the intensive research of the past few years - especially on the topic of lubricants and hydraulic fluids - that there are very efficient biological products on the market, which are just as good, if not even better than conventional mineral products.
